Sew Anxious
Designs by Celia
handcrafted with love made to inspire.
Growing up, I’ve always had a passion for creativity—whether it was crafting, making things by hand, or sharing my creations with others. That love for creating is still with me today, and now I get to share it in a meaningful way. Through Sew Anxious Designs, I’m able to give back and offer support to my family, friends, and community, whether through unique handmade items or just a little inspiration. My goal is to bring joy and creativity to others, just like crafting has done for me.
About
Crafting isn’t just a hobby—it’s my way of managing anxiety and creating happiness. After discovering the therapeutic power of making things with my hands, I started Sew Anxious Designs to share that joy with others. Whether you’re grabbing a custom sticker or a handmade tote, I hope my items bring a little extra happiness to your day.
Creative Advocacy: Spreading Mental Health Awareness One Sticker at a Time
I’ve always had so many ideas but not enough creative outlets to bring them to life. At the same time, I’ve always been passionate about mental health and reducing the stigma around it. My husband, who works at our local community college, suggested I make stickers and distribute them at the school to help spread awareness. Over the past year, I’ve been able to do just that—combining my creativity with a cause I care deeply about. As we enter our second year of making and sharing these stickers, I’m excited to continue spreading awareness and giving back to the community. Don’t be surprised if you see my stickers in Belfair, Allyn, or even Olympia as we expand our efforts!
I’ve had several requests about how one can help support this cause. I do accpet donations to purchase the paper and other supplies used to make the stickers.
If you wish to contribute to the Sticker Fund, you can do so via PayPal or Cash App.
Allyn Bestie
When I moved to Allyn from Rochester, working from home didn’t exactly help me make new friends. I joked with my family that I was “off to see my besties” every time I headed to the corner market. For months, I’d make small talk with the staff, secretly thinking of them as my support group, even though they had no idea.
One day, I finally told them that in my house, we called them “the besties.” They loved it! From then on, they’d greet me as “bestie” whenever I came in, and we laughed about how the joke had become reality. I even joked they should wear “Local Besties” t-shirts, so naturally, I made some for them.
Turns out, the shirts were a hit, and soon, the whole community wanted one. What started as a joke turned into a local favorite!
Feel free to contact me with any questions or if you’re interested in purchasing stickers or shirts. I’d be happy to provide more information and a price quote!
